I'm 31. Born in Berlin, grew up in Canada, studied medicine in Bavaria — and back in Berlin since 2018.
Doctor by day
I studied medicine and as a day job I work as a physician in the intensive care unit. Painting and medicine are the perfect work-life balance.
Painting found me
A severe Covid infection left me with Long Covid and, unexpectedly, a lot of time. I started painting almost as therapy. These pieces are the result.
Colour & faces
I wouldn't say I have one defined style — but most of my work centres on bright, colourful portraits. Faces, bodies, expressions — built from hundreds of small, deliberate strokes.

The paintings are oil on canvas, worked slowly — one decision at a time. From a distance they read as skin and light; up close they fall apart into a mosaic the eye puts back together on its own. Most are portraits, most are colourful, all are one-of-a-kind originals. All the paintings are professionally digitized and sold as prints.
